I have a friend that was looking at buying a new gun. He's lookin a a gun made by the company Matrix.
I'm to lazy to research it now, anyone got any info on whether the company is good or bad?

well they have great beginner weapons. but all they are is the not so well known brands with a warranty added. plus they are the US distributer for Both Elephent, CYMA, amd other china companies.

but for some reason their guns work better than the base companies. Matrix might have higher expectations.

but all in all it really only depends on what gun he is getting. Smile

Okay. Thanks, He's lookin at the M-14. I told him he should go with JG cuz he doesn't want to spend to much, but he wants to get the woodstock, which JG doesn't have.

Matrix-Company Empty Wooden stock...

Post  Scott Tue Aug 25, 2009 3:35 pm

He's lookin at a plastic wooden stock because he doesn't want to spend the money for a real wood one. He and I may try to build a real oak stock or somethin sometime. You know any other brands that would be good?
What do you have thats wood that would be good?

Matrix-Company Empty yeah

Post  SnipeJAG94 Tue Aug 25, 2009 3:41 pm

yeah echo1 is a branch of JG but they have quality control.

UTG makes some pretty bad ass M14's, Striker (aka Rick Sy) has one and i'm jelouse of it. its really good!!!

i try to stay away from CYMA but they can make some very good guns...

just stick with the well known brands and have him do some research. hes bound to find something.

i'm all up for the UTG M14 though, i love that gun.

Dakota Koch is buying the gun. I think you've played with him once over at my place.
He's finally gettin somethin other than spring rifles and C02 pistols. I think he and my bro will probably start comin with me to play at Bothell when I do come.
