Security Circle tactic...
I read about this in a fictional war book about Marines in the future...
Although its fiction I think the tactic itself holds meret. What it is is you post you team or squad of 5 -6ish guys in a circle all of them facing outwards, if they're all camoflauged well the idea is they will see any enemy approaching their position. They all cover about 180 degrees of vision scanning for targets, with the 180degree scan, they all overlap scan areas and can alert each other/shot any intuders in their area of scanning.
What do y'all think bout this tactic?

Haha. The idea is you're all camoflauged, so you see enemies first and shoot them first.
And its also supposed to be used just as a regrouping manuever or as a resting move. Its not a combat position.

Yeh it wouldn't work without really good camo... Wonder what would happen if you did the same kinda thing cept with riot shields... Kinda like the turtle formations used by the Roman Army, cept with guns
