Just so you know, once the other team knows where you are, yellin at each other works just fine
but you're definitely right, communication is pretty important... and what really distinguishes good teams from bad teams i think

This is great for Tac-Tac but useless if other people don't know the signals, it's all or nothing. Also, in our outdoor Arenas like at Jake's or Thrashers, you can usually just talk to each other easily enough, long-range communication is the problem, and that's where hands-free mics are needed.
