Re: Rules, draft
i think thats pretty confuseing, i think it would be better to say just semi at a close distance
snipers
In NATC, the min for a sniper that is 450+fps is 65 feet, I have trained my eyes to this distance. 100ft is a little to much, remember they have a boltaction that means one shot, the other person has a AEG with a couple 100 shots. think about it

Re: Rules, draft
Personally I dont like these rules...
I say change the first set of rules to 30ft instead of 50 ft. The second set should be the same, but move the "be nice" to over 400FPS AEGs as well.
For 80ft+, cmon, 400+FPS should be able to go full-auto...
Change the category from 400-450 FPS to 400-425FPS, much less variance there, and then change the rules to the above. Leave the rules the same for 426+ FPS.
Just my 2 cents

Some suggestions
Hey its me Garrett anyway some of the rules from evergreen that I thought were pretty good were 400fps limit on aeg's, 500 fps limit on snipers and that snipers were unable to engage someone with their sniper with in 60 ft. also to keep from confusion on teams, you would give each team a name for that game and people were able to ask other people out in the field what team they were on and they were not aloud to lie but had the option of not replying. another rule was the surrender rule which is to give a person the decision to surrender if you have them dead to rights like with in 20 ft. Also one of the main rules that I have played with at evergreen and east side and junkyard wars and any other airsofting events I have been to was that and hit counts unless it is a ricochet.

Re: Rules, draft
yeah, i must admit it can be quite scary getting close with those 430fps kwa m16 (they have m130 stock)
Re: Rules, draft
I think the close range adds intensity and a little fear into people when you know there's a 450fps gun 10 feet away. Besides, it takes 500FPS for someone to bleed, so why have any rules at all for weapons below 500? Man up

Re: Rules, draft
its not the weather the bbs break the skin or not but that a lot of the safety gear that some of the people are using like masks and goggles are not meant to hold up against 500 fps. and if someone were to get injured and with out any waivers they could sue and get us all kicked off the field.

Re: Rules, draft
Somebody bring a high powered sniper and everybody brings extra goggles in case somebodies break. And for the last time people get mesh goggles! I'll sell somebody a full mask for $20 if they need it next game. Henry should make some waivers too

Re: Rules, drafts
Hey henry im telling you, if you don't set a certain limit now when very few people have really high powered guns then it wont get too out of hand.

Re: Rules, draft
Perfect. But we need a chrono. I suggest everybody who goes to the next game brings $5 for it or they can't play. Period.

Re: Rules, draft
actually i think i can get a chrono from my parents for free if i stress to them the fact that it is a safety issue. they care about that stuff.
Re: Rules, draft
Don't get a UTG Chrono from eBay for $20 though otherwise a free spring pistol will be like 780.

Re: Rules, draft
hhhhhhmmmmmm? reminds me of another topic!!
anyway, Henry if your parents don't buy a chrono then i'll chip in money for one "support the team" i think i'm speaking for the rest of the dignified team members.

Re: Rules, draft
from some other thread, someone said: "well then we will debate who gets to take it home, ect.", so i think that just one person should buy one out of the kindness of thier heart and have it be thiers, and share it. sharing is caring. and for who should buy one, im not judging but *cough* henry *cough*
dude
since henry is responsible, team president, etc. he'd take it home.
if it was a personal chrono then we would have to worry about breaking it.

no
who would shoot it? no say its droped, kicked someone trips over it. you know i said that for worse case scenario.
the team should own one. because if it is personal we'd have to worrie about the person coming to the game.
unless you would want to guy it?
