Team training
I honestly think we need to have some short little training sessions now and then, covering basics like flanking an evading. The usual "make it up as we go" deal we run with obviously isn't working anymore since we seem to be getting our asses handed to us on silver platters (although the lack of hit calling from the enemy doesn't really help that). My whole deal is that if we're going up against a team that uses tactics, we have to use tactics as well. Granted, we're always stuck with a bunch of ignorant 13 year olds in sports jerseys who somehow are able to buy cigarettes. But that doesn't mean we can't figure out what to do as a small team, as well as how to "motivate" the 13 year olds. Seriously though, we need to find time to get our crap together. I'm tired of losing to a bunch of 30 year olds with bad backs.

Re: Team training
I played on team dirty once and idk if they were hiding their tactics from me but they were telling me they basically just wing it too, but push forward and rush and such.
Re: Team training
I think the real problem is having like 4 people (on a good day) show up from our team and then we get stuck with all the new kids like the kid in the paintball gear and his friends which they all suck, rather than it is our team not having any tactics.

Re: Team training
Yeah, really...
Plus, I don't know why you think it, but it's not random people that make our tea lose, it's us. We don't plan, no one listens to each other, it's just a mess. We need to figure out a way to organize ourselves, or we continue to play like we do and lose every game.

I'm leaning towards the Soviet Commissar style - you know, cowards and traitors will be shot, get moving or I'll shoot you my self, etc.

Re: Team training
Agree with Scott. I was playing today and I had an idea to go sneak around and I yelled "I'm going around, I need a buddy to come with and cover me!" And this kid just like stops shooting, stares at me, and resumes. I mean he wasn't on our team (wba) but like on my team for the game, you know. But yeah it was kind of annoying. I went by myself and got rocked and just kinda went, wow.
Re: Team training
Yes trust in team members is very important!
There were a couple guys from WTF i think today. Father and son most likely, and they were on the team I was playing on. I was camping in the swamp, and the older dude was like "You've got a guy there." "You've got a guy here." to the kid and letting him shoot at them. I turned and asked him where they were (I couldn't see them) and he replied "Oh don't worry this guy's got 'em. You can go if you want we don't need you." I was like wow, jerk...

Re: Team training
Well in respect to team stuff, if we're gonna actually do this, we need to actually take a couple days to really train..... and sort out what it is everybody is good for and what their guns are good for, etc.

Re: Team training
Be very careful about this, unorganized training sessions usually turn into team deathmatches and kids arguing about what a formation looks like
Btw has anyone noticed that half of the time you're actually airsofting you're actually sitting down and waiting? I mean seriously, people spend up to an hour just sitting down and there's always someone that didn't load up their gun for whatever reason, probably because they were bored waiting and emptied it again...
I don't understand why times between games ever exceeds 5 minutes, much less 30
