yeah theyre doing what the ACM companies do and they are cloning the PTW. TCF gave them a few suggestions and supposedly the new improved models are even better than Systema, and they're compatible.

Re; Guns/gun related
this sounds familar.
"Echo1,UTG,CYMA,Sportline,AGM,TSD, ect. over the original Tokyo Marui, Classic Army, Shento, and ICS"
hey if echo and even CYMA! can out preform the Founding fathers of airsoft, then this cheaper version of the famous PTW can hopfully meet Systema.

Re: Guns/gun related
im pretty sure that that gun is just the socom gear M82 being distributed under the name of echo1, but that is wierd, i thought that socom gear would have all the title.
ready the description, it says its by socom gear

There are two variants of the Barret, a bolt action and a semi automatic one. I'm assuming this one is the bolt action.

Actually, I doubt many people know this, but I just watched a show on sniper rifles, but there is a single shot bolt action .50 cal sniper rifle. Every shot, you have to pull back to bolt and put in a new bullet in. I think that's the rifle this is modeled off of.

I google imaged M99 and it actually came up with a gun that looked exactly like this.

Re: Guns/gun related
henry, its modeled after a real gun called the M99 i think, and you should realize that the M82 has a side, push-forward bolt, like your AK, and this one has a bolt action, like a sniper. put two pictures side by side and youll see theres a lot of differences
Re: Guns/gun related
yes i know that, but it looks similar to me, besides the bolt and mag. it would definatly give the same feel of an m82. even though it isnt
Re: Guns/gun related
ok guys (not mark/hanry because they know what they are talking about)
for all your Barrett needs or questions... just go to there website. there is an m95 that has a mag, then there is a m99 that is a not a repeater... just check em out.
http://www.barrettrifles.com/
ok guys...the M82 is a gas operated semi auto rifle, the m99 and m95 are barrett's bullpup boltaction rifles.

JAke, you have to consult the FPS rules, that gun is WAY over what it should be. its a very nice gun, its just that it is far out of "the rules" and its supposed to be used for military/police practice.
...unless you could dull the fps down by about 75

ok first off, you can... it is like a paintball marker. i can with the hex bolt that comes with it... so chill and i know about the FPS limit, henry knows why. dude i did so much research with this gun, look on Youtube, there is a vid on how to adjust the velosity if you don't belive me.
And sorry henry, i was reading your posts about the barrett and realized that you did know. i was in a hury to get off the comp. because i was being timed. so i will go back and change it ok. Sorry dude

Re: Guns/gun related
about that M99 we were talking about, i found that there IS NO mag, its a single-shot rifle, and after your shot you pull the bolt back and insert a new bullet into the chamber. so that airsoft M99 off evike must be pretty strange, considering it doesnt use shells. either that or its not a very accurate M99
Re: Guns/gun related
OOH! this is a nice gun here, it looks like the king arms one, just someone sells it, and about 400$ cheaper:

Re: Guns/gun related
I love how a week ago, I fully described the M99, and Alex comments on how he's never heard of it, and now he posts the exact same information I had a week ago...
