The gun itself looks fantastic, but from what I've heard, its performance is utter shit.

that sums it up. I mean cmon 1,200.00 for something you might wanna upgrade, not worth it.
But it's about time someone focust on those classic guns, All they need now is an Enfeild Twisted Evil
I found some guy that cnc'ed one of his own, I'll Try to make link- I could only find his Forum topic but here, theres pictures Very Happy

Anybody heard any pro's and con's on that Dboys Kar-98
I know Dboys/CYMA is not very good but I heard that this was one of their better guns.
I think it's worth buying for the price if we ever get into WWII wars.

I heard it was pretty good, but the only downside is that it uses a shell ejection system, which while cool on its own, sucks in a skirmish.

You think it would be good if we have large teams, I do.
What i'v been trying to find is that if it is a two part body ( like snipers, barrel/firegroupings can be detached from stock in one peice )
this means I could buy a genuine Kar-98 wood stock. ultimate replica cheers

As far as I know they are two parts. On some UK WW2 airsoft forum they were taking the guts out of the DBoy's wood stock version and replacing them with another brand's guts.

for a team gun i was thinking mounted, so i'd go for the .50 Browning.

but that is in Europe, so? i know of a airsoft companie called Airsharp, google it sometime.
they make the .50 and also the 1919, and both are around $500-$700
-uses SAW gear box
-uses external box mag System
-custum barrel, runs the full distance all the way to the muzzle for ultimate acuracy.
